Japan #5: Lake Kawaguchi Boat Ride

Here's us having our lunch break at Coffee Restaurant Miharashi (or what we assume the cafe was called, as the words were plastered on the facade), which sits just opposite Lake Kawaguchi. A really good and steaming hot katsudon! We had a stellar view of the lake, and it didn't hurt to have some free wifi at the cafe.

At precisely 1500 hrs, we boarded the boat, with just us and another couple on board. The whole ride took about 20 minutes, and it was freezing cold with the frigid winds blowing in our faces. But we persevered, standing on the top deck almost throughout the entire boat ride, in order to savour every moment that the mountain was in view.

And now, time for a selfie with Mount Fuji!
