Gozu is my favorite movie by Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer, 13 Assassins) & after years of loving it, my foregone conclusion is that it's definitely a horror movie & a terrifying one at that. When people ask me for film recommendations, this is always my go to cause it deserves a bigger audience. For fans of Lynch.
