the styling for this era was IMMACULATE !!!
mika helped pick out every outfit just to ensure it fit the concept of her music properly and was comfortable enough for her to perform in
there were a lot of pastels and bright colors, as well as a lot of patterned pieces
mika didn’t wear anything other than dresses and skirts + crop tops, which some fans didn’t appreciate but mika said it fit the concept perfectly
her shoes were often a statement piece of each look, the knee high laced up pastel boots being the most memorable
when it came to accessories, the stylists kept it minimal
there was a belt, suspenders, and a waist chain here or there but that was about it
her hair was dyed a base color of bright blue and had purple streaks all throughout it
the hairstyles she rocked most often were either down with small hair clips, a high ponytail, or a half up-half down look
the styling for the one “our color” special stage was really bright and cute
mika kept up the skirt an pigtail styling from the other stages but switched out her skirt for a jean one and wore a pair of rainbow high tops instead of her normal knee pastel lace ups
noah was matching mika for the color scheme, and rocked a pastel tie dye jacket that matched the colorful hair chalk streaks the stylist put in his hair

she was so excited to finally have her solo moment and that was so very obvious; from the extreme joy radiating off of her at all times and the amount of times she expressed her excitement for this mini, it was hard to deny how much fun she was having
both sugar babies and the general public were on the edge of their seats when the mini finally dropped due to no one knowing what it was going to sound like after the early release of ‘industry’s baby’
sadly mika wasnt able to perform ‘industry’s baby’ on any music shows this go around but she did hold a vlive with deepdive’s noah where they performed it acoustically
speaking of noah, everyone ate up their cute, little ‘our color’ performance. the matching outfits and playful had fans fully in love with the pair
the lyrics of the song once again stirred up dating rumors between them but both mika and noah continuously denied that they were involved romantically, explaining that fans needed to listen to the song as a platonic love confession between two best friends or soulmates
fans still didn’t believe them but they’ve gotten used to the rumors and assumptions by now
[dance] practice videos were released for every single song on the mini
‘adult world’ and ‘our color’ were your typical dance practice videos. ‘industry’s baby’ was a switched version, with mika performing noah’s parts and him performing hers. ‘fake friends’ and ‘bad b**** #’ were mic version with the girl(s) genuinely performing the songs but in a more casual way
the dance practice for ‘party, feel, love’ garnered a lot of public attention due to its sexual choreography, that involved a lot of physical contact between mika and akinari
overall the promotion period wasn’t the longest but it was a huge success !!
mika was living her best life during this era and is counting down the days until she can release her next solo project

there was literally never any mention of this song even being a thing so everybody freaked out when it dropped
it was one of 2021′s most viewed mvs in 24 hours and had the world of kpop flipped on its head
the mv itself was on the more promiscuous side with its prison setting and theme, and its plethora of backup dancers/actors that spent most of the video dancing sexually around mika
the lyrics were a whole other discussion woof
everybody was floored by the language that mika used in the song, only ever having seen her act all sweet and joyful in her previous soundcloud solo releases
a lot of people thought that angelico had an overseas lyricist/producer create the song and forced mika to release it to get bigger buzz surrounding her solo debut, but that was quickly debunked when it was revealed that the only people that worked on the song was mika, noah, and angelico producer son jihoon

half of the people ate his verse up, loving the explicit but playful lyrics, while others cursed the poor boy out

she was a trainee under dsp for two years before she made her debut in april as the main rapper and main dancer. she ended up leaving the group in november of 2015 alongside somin after “facing difficulties with management”
she later joined ‘produce 101′ and ended up ranking 5th, debuting as the lead rapper, lead dancer, and maknae in ioi
she made her acting debut in late 2017 in the web drama “unexpected heroes”. she acted in a few more dramas throughout 2018 and 2019 but has said she isn’t sure if she wants to go back to acting

[ MIKA @ DSP ] it took so much convincing from so many people to get mikyung her own studio at dsp oh my god it was ridiculous. she went uncredited on kard’s first 3 singles and when matthew thanked her for helping create the songs, fans went feral and demanded dsp give mika proper credit. this led to her finally getting a studio despite it not being much. the room was literally tiny, only really her desk and two bean bag chairs being able to fit in there, and that was pushing it. she hated the dark grey walls so she covered every corner of the room in the cutest little tapestries and posters of her favorite groups and artists. she had this huge ass fluffy white carpet (which ended up being a light grey by the time she moved sksjshs) and had a bright pink gamer chair that matched the bright pink shelves on the walls filled with her favorite albums. if you don’t count the few vlives she did in there, then only kard and the deepdive boys have seen her old studio and been inside it.
[ MIKA @ RBW ] omg her studio at rbw is literally her favorite place to be gosh it’s so much better than her old studio. it’s so big like gosh she literally holds sleepovers and get togethers in there i love it. she has a two desk set up with double monitors and her same old pink gaming chair, she’s the cutest little gamer girl. she still has the same old white grey fluffy carpet that only takes up like half the floor space instead of the entire room and has a wall full of kpop posters and photos of all her favorite people. she has a cute little built in shelf with all her albums and she’s constantly adding to it, it’s on the wall next to her same old pastel blue and purple bean bag chairs. mikyung was so excited when she was able to buy her futon and all the cute little throw pillows and blankets she has, she literally lives on that futon. her fairy lights are always on and twinkling all different colors and patterns she loves it.
