B. does your muse like flowers? which ones are their favourite?

Seeing as how Mikan is the ultimate nurse, most of her thoughts, likes and dislikes stem from her passion for her job. And so, her favourite flowers are chamomile and cornflowers, most commonly used for medicinal purposes. Mikan likes flowers, but she’s not crazy about them. However, she is crazy for you, so if you were to buy her flowers, she’d take care of them as well as she takes care of patients. She would care for it every day, constantly checking if it was doing alright or if there was a pest. She loves when you give her flowers, especially when she can make handmade medicine out of them to use back on you. 

... And then eventually, once it was healthy enough to be used in medicine, she’d grind it in a mortar. But don’t feel bad! She’s an expert, and so she made her own medicine from the plant you gave her. And it’s very effective! She uses it on you for when you catch a cold, and despite being slightly sad that her flowers were now turned into a liquid, the strong effect of the medicine bouncing you back on your feet made you forget about it. 

X. does your muse use / like pet names?

oh my god- Mikan loves pet names. She loves them so much, you don’t understand how fast her heart races when you call her something simple like, “Sweets,” or “Baby,” Her irises shape into hearts and she almost breaks down from how much she loves it. She’s most likely to ask you to call her that again, or if you could repeat yourself just so she could hear you call her yours again. “Baby, can you come here?” You’d call for her, sitting in the room opposite to the one she was in, doors open so she could hear. You could hear a small sound that sounded like... squealing? “Love?” You heard it again, “C-could you r-repeat that?” You heard a meek voice come from the open door. “Can you come here..?” You hesitated, did you say something bad?

“N-no, the thing b-before that... B-ba...” She tried but she was too shy to say it, her face already heating up from saying half the word, “Can y-you j-just repeat that? P-please?” You could see Mikan’s face peek out from the door frame, looking at you with pleading and innocent eyes. Making a beckoning motion with your hands, Mikan slowly walked towards you and sat on your lap. “... My Baby.” You smiled up at her flustered face, laughing slightly at her embarrassed squealing.

Y. does your muse get protective easily?

Mikan tends to get a bit over obsessed or protective at times, she can’t really help it. She’s afraid since you’re one of the only people who seem to genuinely care about her without having second thoughts about her in your head, she didn’t want to lose you. So she could get a bit jealous or pester you when you tell her you’re about to go out with someone else. She’d obsessively ask you if they were better, if you wanted them instead, not aggressively, just with a desperate expression on her face. As she keeps talking and asking, she gets closer and closer to breaking down and apologizing over and over afterwards. She didn’t want to seem like the clingy or overprotective type, but she’s just so scared you’ll leave her for someone else. 

So when you reassure her that you won’t leave her, make sure you tell her how much you love her, and how much you could never do such a thing. She’d hold onto you tightly, as if, if she let go, you would leave her. After her outburst, she apologizes for not trusting you, before starting to cry again. You stop her from spiralling, not wanting her to go down that rabbit hole and end up staying there permanently.
