On recent plane flights and the quiet moments in between, I powered through Mike Hranica's “Three Dots & the Guilt Machine”, and this is the post card that came with it. When it comes, my inspirations never file in, they swarm me. They take me over completely, and I am changed. They power through me, and through me they are driven into my every day routines. This read taught me enough. It drove me to change who I was, in a very short time. By the time I landed, in a foreign world, I was ready to fell head over heels with the potential of a new life. To try, even when faced with the seemingly impossible throes of distance and time. It taught me to have patience in transition. Enough to love. To care about others. To feel and remember what it was like to be felt. To have a better sense of others, and hope that they will take the time to do the same. Foremost, it taught me to never forget the ones that love you, to never abandon people only because they care. Those who watch, listen and give, are far more adept to take on the strongest challenges that this world has to offer. They know the value of a heart. “Tintinnabulation” - a ringing or tinkling sound”. An amazing word, but quite the opposite of this little force you created, @mkhrnc. As I march forward on work for my next release in September, I am reminded of the couple times we’ve met, and how you guided me to the avenues to get my work published.
