Its funny cause I used the sfm mike as "a placeholder" until I settled on a personal design for mike (And I still cant, "my" version of mike is just other peoples fanarts that i happen to like) since I figured hes the is the one that shows up the most in animations as such, would be the version I would see/be used to the most, and then I liked him sm it ended up becoming my definitive design instead

Hi, so uh..this is what I spent my thanksgiving break on, I turned my selfship lore/backstory of how Michael and Layla met as an actual fanfic (My first fanfic in like 3 years, I had to dust off my old ao3 acc)

It started off as a drabble thing that I thought wouldn't even be good going in, but I ended up being more proud of this as I went on? And I became more confident in my writing skills, I had a ton of fun writing this as someone who hasn't written anything in about 3 years, so if anyone wants to read about my silly little selfship, please take a look! And I have a ton of Mikelay scenarios and stuff after this so who knows, I might write more in the future! This is just the prologue of how they met after all. Some doodles a friend made on discord for me of Layla and Mike <3 the last pic is them at a pool and michael getting embarassed cause I mentioned them liking to breaking into motels to make out in the pools and be romantic and this happened

its seollal/korean lunar new year for me so I’m thinking about mikelay with matching hanboks (michael having purple and lay having red) he would feel kinda nervous about it cause he never experienced anything involving someone elses culture before but it would mean a lot for him,

im also thinking of layla’s mother (who i named Daejeong, which means gentle in Korean when she’s really not lmao) adopting him as his own son (in-law), especially after learning about his family history and how all of them are dead, she would never let him leave the house without eating an entire meal of banchan first anytime he visits like a true korean mother, he’s overwhelmed but he actually really appreciates it because he forgot what its like to have an actually good mom/familial figure (he would love korean food, and he would also learn the language for her and her mother as well)

also imagining this as their photoshoot after they get married and go on their honeymoon, probably in somewhere like busan they would love it
