“Hmm, let me see.” Maria turned from the shirt on the shelf, to Benjamin, and back again before nodding. “Yes, this is much better. You see how the shirt falls on its hanger? Wide and the shoulders and tapering in towards the waist? Your torso does the same thing so by tailoring to this slim fit you will have a much more flattering shirt. That and this burgundy colour is very popular right now.” Maria told him with a smile, plucking it off the shelf and adding it to the large pile over her arm, several shirts, pants and even a few jackets and ties.

“I think we have enough to move to the changing room now,” she told him lightly, “After all, there is now point in purchasing these unless we are sure they will fit.”

Valerie's husband seems to have the right idea. I'd stay away from her too. I wonder if he'll randomly show up here like a lot of spouses and exes seem to do? But if not, who do you think can warm Valerie's cold, cold heart?

“You must have been so fun at the Bachelor auction, calling out every bachelor for why they’re still single. But when it comes to Val, maybe Benji can light some kind of fire in her heart. Or in other places. I’m not the only one who sees it am I?”
