30 years ago today, I went to see #BigCountry on their #UnderWraps tour at #TheAstoria . Their support that night was a band called @thewonderstuffofficial , and I've been a massive fan of their since! #4decades #MilesHunt
#WiP To go with the #MilesHunt drawing I did previously. #EricaNockalls is way more difficult to draw, despite all Miles' hair. I might have chosen the wrong paper too, with all the texture. Actually using some colour on this one. Thought I'd get that in first so it wouldn't be too bad if I had to start again. Anyway, it doesn't seem to be going too badly; will just have to see how it pans out (and start of the rest of the band). Looking forward to seeing them in Leeds again next weekend on the penultimate day of this 30th birthday tour. Slag off Glastonbury, slag off the new 50 Shades Of Grey book. That’s the point now; they just want that contact. Thankfully a lot of them still want to come to the gigs, but they don’t want the records. [Laughs] I know nobody really wants another Wonder Stuff record. What used to be the additional thing – see the press, see what they’re wearing, see that bold quote pulled out – now that’s the point. Now Facebook and Twitter, because I do that, that’s what they want.
