Hello Tumblr visitor. I am Rob Wood (pixel-manipulator and canvas-botherer; geek: Like a nerd, but with social skills) and 'cû3ik' is my design brand. These are the ramblings and rantings of a web monkey, part-time artist/designer and full-time Dad and husband. Here you will find a lot of me, and much of lots of others. My designs, doodles, digital vandalism and (if I think you might be interested) thoughts. I hope to share and entertain. Don't be shy, drop me a note to say 'Hello' or ask a question. #Inktober #Day31, 'Mask' Well, here we are. Final drawing of Inktober 2017. This is the first year I've managed to complete all 31 days. It has been a challenge. Some days I've been bubbling with inspiration, other days, not so much. Overall, it's been amazing. The dip-pen has been a revelation (still a long way to go), the #Copics likewise, but for different reasons. I hope I've become better and quicker. I hope you've liked the drawings. I hope I can keep drawing every day (must take my sketchbook to DayJob™ for lunchtime scribbling). Everything will be on #Etsy soon. Would love to see these go to good homes. #Inktober2017 week 4 recap. Plenty of false starts this week. Managed to finish the 'juicy' one, but the ink was still a little smudgy. Still, very happy with completing another week. More than happy with the results, but still some way to go before I'm completely happy with the marks I'm putting down. Must learn to be more patient with the ink. #Inktober #day26, 'Squeak' A very early influence for me was #JimDavis' #Garfield cartoons, which I'd swipe from the cartoon section of my grandparents' Sunday papers. I learned a lot from that cat. Sarcasm, love of lasagne and pizza, lethargy, hatred of mornings and caffeinne addiction.
