So, I discovered that Mile Square Park has an ARCHERY RANGE! Yesterday, I went to see @formulaone36 and his new bow. It's really elaborate. This is a compound bow...not too exciting of a name. It was invented in the '60s as a way to improve accuracy and weight balance. I guess it's like the RED Camera of archery bows. It was a very overcast day and the oppression from the California wildfires in pretty much every direction within the state personified the overcast sky. So @psychodotic, @formulaone36 and I made the best of it with new-normal precautions in place and a forward-thinking spirit. They caught the Katniss Everdeen bug and shot either too (ambitiously) high or right on the money. #goals.
