I’m not exactly close to reaching another milestone, but I can’t help organise these things waaaay ahead AHJAKSK
I was thinking that for my next milestone event, we could all have a slumber party— or, you know, a pijama party, but slumber party sounds cooler. It will be very similar to what we did in the previous coffee shop themed event, but instead of me asking you what will you be ordering, I will be asking you what are you bringing to the slumber party.
For example: if you are bringing pillows, you will be asking for fluff. If you are bringing blankets, you will be asking for headcanons. If you are bringing drinks, you will be asking for smut, and so on. This is a vague idea, but that’s basically what I had in mind. And when requesting, for example, you will go: I’m bringing pillows and blankets with Jace Velaryon. Basically, you will be asking for Jace x Reader fluff headcanons.
Hi there, congrats on your milestone and your event sounds really cute and I thought I would jump in on this. Well Everyone, we must say, we were very surprised and entirely happy to wake up today and find ourselves with Fifty of you wonderful Wanderers coming and giving yourselves over to our thoughts and words!

Now, we have been considering this for a bit, since we were climbing towards our first official milestone hit, but we wanted to let everyone help out with this!
We, of course, wanted to do something special for everyone, especially with so many of you now following us, so we were thinking of a little something and decided on this event that might be more fun than anything else, for now! c:
Let Us Create A Character For You!
So, for this milestone, we wanted to run a little event where you can give us a name, maybe some vibes, colors, or something else for inspiration and let us create a Character for you! And depending on what you would like, or if anyone is interested, maybe we can even make it a whole thing, and give them their own little Intro Page, let them dive into the Worlds of our Creations, and even give them a little snippet of their very own!
So, for this event, since we wanted to dig deep and get things going, we are going to hold rules and guidelines and of course, a soft deadline, bc we want to make sure we can commit a lot of time and effort for all of you!
Considerations:
We are extending the invitation to our followers first and foremost, but since it is such a soft milestone, even if you don't follow us, or are new ( 51st Follower+ ) then you can definitely participate!
We will be extending this invitation and event for the next three days ( mostly for the time zones, the activity, and the like ) so if you see if from the Morning of September 7th to the Morning of September 10th, then go ahead and send something in!
We will probably start working on the Characters starting September 8th, so today will be the prime time to get things in so you can start seeing them right away!
Rules:
Please send in an ask to our Writeblr ( @365runesofwriting ) and let us know a name, and other thoughts for inspiration for the character!
We ask that you also include that you are there for the Milestone Event, so we know which asks are for what!
Please only send in ONE ASK or ONE CHARACTER per PERSON, just so that we can get to everyone. Just consider it: Fifty People are a lot, and we want to give everyone a chance to jump in! c:
Please try not to give another character as inspiration. We want to give you something new and wild and happily surprising!

Thank you so much for participating in the event, our beloved Locke! No worries about giving just a name, that is always fine, and honestly, we are entirely happy if you want to leave Dodge with us and just spontaneously take them and give our characters some solid chaos! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
And Dodge can come into themself so softly and gently, they are just as sweet and silky as your vibes! They instantly came the gentle notes of a beloved windchime, the soft jingle on a not-yet-worn doorbell, and brought the softer brews of coffee, tea, and vaguely known books! c:

A Snippet for Their Arrival,
You somehow end up in the Shop without a true thought as to why.
It sits with all the eloquence of something otherworldly, and if it wasn’t for the fact that the soft murmur of the festivals and joy can still be heard through the glass, you would have thought that you actually did find yourself in a different World.
But the Shop is soft where the outside World is loud; it is calm and warm, where the weather was wet and cold and exhilarating; it is ethereal and entirely foggy where everything else had been sharp and rigid and somehow strained to the point of breaking. You take a small breath, glance back to the back to glass doors that roll through the rainbows of the lights of the festivals before focusing back into the small bubble that is the Shop.
Books are stacked on almost every surface available, shelves and tables and cabinets and nooks filled with the ink and pages. Where the books don’t reside are glasses and figurines and everything that might be known through antique stores or coffee shops. You glance all around as you walk forward on the soft carpet that lays out the single clear path to the bar at the back of the store, try to take in everything that it offers without lingering too long over the very few customers sitting in couches, chairs, pillows, or wherever else that will hold them.
Soft movement brings your attention in front of you, and you stop as you note a cat sitting before you, eyes bright and shimmering without true reason. The head shifts to the side and you smile at the movement. You give a little wave as you take in the soft fur and vibrant colors that seem to shine along with the irises.
“Polaris welcomes you to her Shop.”
You look up, find a gentle smile and fresh dimples giving you attention. The Being tilts their head at you and you note the apron around their hips, the stench of eucalyptus that seems to ghost with their presence, the gentle notes of a windchime unseen. They give you another smile, beckon you over as they move to the bar.
“You can come take a seat; we are still serving coffee, cocoa, or tea. Also, we think you might be in need of a bit of water; the festivals are shifting from thunder to lightning, it seems.”
You watch them for a moment, more drowning in their presence until a chirp brings your focus back to Polaris. The cat spins in place, giving you another chirp before she moves to the bar in obvious guidance. You follow the cat to her master, let yourself watch as the kit easily glides up and to them, settling on the bar next to the French press and immediately garnering a few sweeps of her master’s hand over fur. Something sparkles in her fur, a soft whisper of shimmering light that is both entirely obvious and unrealistic.
Cats don’t shine.
“You’ll get used to it.”
You find those dimples again, see some of the same shimmer in their eyes before they chuckle and beckon you over to a stool.
“Come and sit; we’ll get you a cup right now.”

p.s. we definitely wrote bit more than we thought we would! so you can definitely be expecting a Doc so you can see all of the words that Dodge has helped us create!
also, kind of wild and interesting, but Dodge piqued our desire to write in the second person! which has not happened in so long, but it was so easy to write it that way with them, how odd an occurrence.
