Last day off before returning to work >.< So much to do, still! I wished there were more hrs in a day. It's what I always say/ask for; like instead of 24 hrs, I need like 30!

I got these teas from a local tea shop called Acquired Taste recently. Milk oolong is interesting- I really like oolong tea & my fav is one called "ginseng oolong". Of course, there's many varieties of it.. . but the one I love most is from the motherland. Ran out of it a long time ago =( anyway, milk oolong, the name caught my attention. When you smell the tea, it's more .. bubbletea-like. It's hard to imagine! But it smells like milk tea bubbletea. When you brew & drink it though, it has a hint of milk flavour, but there's like no actual milk. Weird, right?

Chamomile is chamomile .. compared to ones I've had in the past, the little buds from here are smaller. It's super light so that's why it's 50g but it's a 100g bag.

One evening, I decided to mix the 2, & the result was interesting. The oolong flavour hits you first but then you get a subtle chamomile flavour afterwards. Try!

Have discovered milk oolong and my god, y'all, I will drink that shit unsweetened all day long.

My current obsession is my favorite milk oolong tea (Taiwan) colored with butterfly pea flowers (Thailand) so it matches my book cover (the far future) because I am bonkers.

It's fun!

(If you add lemon it goes purple, but I prefer the flavor of oolong without lemon.)

I recently discovered Milk Oolong tea thanks to the manhwa “50 Tea Recipes from the Duchess” and I’m so glad picked up some during my recent trip to London. All the taste of milky tea without the milk!

Next time I’ll try to make milk tea with this and see how it taste with actual milk in it.
