This is a silly OC of mine named Milkbean! I've had him in my head for a few year now but never actually drew anything for him! He's an albino Gnoll who was a pet for a noble family. They dressed him in silly fancy clothes but Bean seems to have enjoyed it. His favorite colors are bright or pastel pinks and blues.
He is surprisingly well educated being around the families children as they were home schooled. His owners thought very little of Bean not thinking he would absorb any of the information. Not that they particularly cared if he did but they had no intentions on educating him. He would practice math, reading, and writing in secret and would sometimes sneak in reading story books to the kids. He treated the children as younger siblings calling them such as well. He would often participate in nannying duties with the actual nannies.
Bean would become a jack of all trades learning how to cook and fight and even entertain(he wasn't particularly good at that last one). He was very friendly with the staff and they enjoyed his help an company, treating him far better than their noble bosses. Bean would become very close friends (maybe even a little more than friends) with one of the knights. This knight would be the one that taught Bean to fight without the family knowing. But when his owners did learn of this his dear friend was fire the knight from his job. They were not happy at all to learn Bean new how to wield a sword. It would come in hand though before they knew it.
An attack on the noble household would accrue and leave Milkbean without his family..... not that they died or anything like that. Since Bean know how to fight his owners would send him out with the guards to defend the home long enough for the family to flee without Bean. When the attack was over Bean would find his family long gone. Not knowing if they forgot him or were harmed he would go off on his journey to reunite with his family.
