It’s been awhile since I first read this page—over two years, and still it intrigues me. Perhaps that’s just because I’m a fan of Legend and as such, I find the littlest mole holes to make mountains of of, but still.
If anybody was “an average nobody,” it was Hyrule, surely…? The boy who came from nowhere and nothing, versus Legend, who could have given himself a much more substantial origin of “from a long line of knights” or “a knight’s son” or something of the sort. Why “an average nobody”?
I suppose that is just how he views himself. Which is interesting, considering “an average nobody” became the Hero of Legend—arguably one of the greatest/most powerful among them. I guess that makes him humble, but then again this line of thought feels more self deprecating than humble.
Who knows? I suppose I am just delusional…
