#I watch more Youtube than movies/TV #because it's easier to find new things that align with what I actually want to be watching #you know??#plus like the people #the creators #they're unique and genuine and funny and REAL #REAL PEOPLE #and it isn't that I don't want to be interacting with fictional characters #it's that like....#drew gooden for example #I can watch the same guy #do new things #so one video is about Scooby Doo movies and another is about terrible mental health products #Whereas Moana is only one movie #and if I wanted to consume more #I would have to face the sequel #which I can't trust to be as genuine as the first one #because disney is all about cash grabs now #does that make sense???#Like I'm way more hesitant about new modern movies than new youtube videos #bc new movies might be lifeless and unoriginal and contain elements I would prefer to avoid #Whereas there are countless Youtubers who are creating because they love to #and they're making GOOD STUFF. Not gonna lie, it's a little infuriating to just fuck around and find out when it comes to my 3d art. I wish I had a couple classes about it, but I decided to take a break from uni exactly when that would happen. (But, also, it was only gonna be one and then nothing else. God my degree sucks ass)

There isn't any good affordable online courses that I could find. The good ones are irrationally expensive (CG Masters Academy is literally a $1000 for a single course, which is what like 20,000 pesos? oof) and the cheap ones are all introductory level at best. I'm a little frustrated. YouTube tutorials also dont help much since theh just show you how to make a specific thing, but dont really explain how or why you're doing anything.

AAAAAAAA I just want to get better! Show some growth! Be able to make more polished artworks!!!
