So my friend just hit me a message about her parents constantly pressuring her to go to top state university than private university, even though she already got scholarship in private uni. She also mentioned that her parents told her if she fails to get to state uni then she's a failure which is .... really sad. I'm not really sure how to comfort her, I mean sadly we live in that kind of world sometimes. That's why I'd really like to ask for advice if you have one. Thank you !

That’s awful! It’s difficult since it’s a thing between her parents and her so it’s not really in your control. I’m not super experienced in things like this, but my advice is to provide her with all the support that you can. I like to facetime my friends when I’m upset and need cheering up, and talking to someone makes me feel so much better. Go out together and let her vent, and I guess just be someone she can come to. Parents are hard, especially when they’re not yours- I’m sorry I couldn’t help more, but good luck!

🌺 Congrats on 3k !!! My favourite instrument to play is violin ! I got inspired by a certain character in tamagotchi anime when I was around 12-13 haha. How about you ? Do you play any instruments ?

thank you sm :’) and yes! i used to play clarinet, oboe guitar, bass guitar, harp, & piano in high school, but now i just sing / play piano as a hobby :’) i remember wanting to learn the violin and get into a career involving music but aahh how times have changed ~
