Ahh okay okay so I'm going to tag @leviathanswingman so that they can correct me/add anything I may miss.

It took Mammon a while to get back out into the dating field after the passing of Treasure's parent. He was really focused on trying to be a good dad to Treasure but also had a really hard time properly mourning his partner, because Mammon feels a lot and he feels a lot of things strongly. He was looked at as the Devildom's number 1 bachelor, but he doesn't like that.

He honestly doesn't start dating again until they're up in the human world (and it also takes some pushing from Asmo). When he did meet what would be the parent of the triplets, it took him a while to inteoduce them to Treasure. A long while. Treasure is really special to Mammon and he wants to make sure he brings the right people into their life. He's definitely talked about his kiddo, because they are his whole world, but he's gotta make sure the person he's seeing is good for Treasure before they meet. Treasure on the other hand has some mixed emotions. They are definitely attached to their daddy, and they don't want to see him hurt. They also worry about someone trying to replace their own mother, but after they're assured that would never happen, they are willing to get to know the new person better. (We've been running on the assumption that new parent is someone that Mammon met while Treasure and Lilith are being raised in the human world but we haven't entirely fleshed out whether Treasure and their siblings are full demons like Ollie or if they're half demons of some kind like Lilith and Ariel.)

Matt kept mostly to himself at work. Only speaking to a select few people that he seemed to deem worthy of putting in the effort to interact with, he responded to most other people that approached him with an eye roll and as snarky a response as he could manage.

Thankfully, it seemed that I had been deemed one of the worthy. He'd been a little warmer toward me ever since the afternoon we spent an entire lunch hour debating whether including an actual dragon fight in a short campaign is really worth the effort. After a few days of pretending that I didn't exist, he started nodding at me in the hall. Once last week, I could have sworn that he smiled when I asked him how Greg was doing.

On Friday morning, Matt stood in front of the break room refrigerator. "Hey Matty?" I asked, a little more chipper than usual, even for me. "Can I get in there, or are you still looking for the hidden doorway to Narnia?"

There’s not much to smile about on Starkiller Base. It’s really not my fault most of my coworkers are total jerkfaces or idiots.
