I LIVE AND IM HERE TO PROVIDE MORE HELLSING SLOP
Ngl, if I want to see VILE making a big comeback, I want someone who's as unhinged and inhumanely cruel as the Major from Hellsing Ultimate. Yes, even more deranged than Maelstrom.
- No Faculty
- No Votes
- Their word is the law
Such a drastic change in leadership would pivot VILE's usual M.O. from 'Steal shit for profit' to 'Burn it all down just to make a point'. They would look down Brunt's comparison of VILE as 'family' and any operative under his leadership that gets killed off is a victim of natural selection.
From a narrative perspective and as a hard lesson for the intended audiences, it would force both ACME—except for the Chief—and Carmen to acknowledge the reality that not every VILE member can be put behind bars and sometimes, taking their life is the only way to stop them.
More aggretsuko x hellsing fanart
Major is one of those villains I love to hate. I hate his guts, as I should. He's such a good antagonist, not because of his war speech, not because he's a "genius", and definitely not because "he's a Nazi and Nazis make the best villains"
He's a pure evil Disney villain, but with a Hellsing spin (yeah no shit Ryan)
What makes him great is what he stands for, and how he reveals hellsings themes more directly and better than anyone (except Anderson)
What it means to be human?
That question, he answers. It's the reason that drives him, he reveals what vampirism is really about. He talks about humanity, individuality and how he's stronger than Alucard because he still has humanity. (personally I think this speech is much better than the war one)
But when he dies, Integra just destroys his point, she wipes away his delusions and shows us what it really means.
Anyway, this post is half assed but I'm still posting it in hopes that one day I think more about it, put in some quotes and have my smart moment 😭😭😭
