What is your favourite concert that you didn't attend but wish you could have?
i’ve mentioned this one numerous times and until my memory lapses, it’s going to be top ranking: the 2015 global citizen earth day celebration in washington, dc on the national mall.
i had a friend, my concert buddy, who was going to see train and she invited me. unfortunately due to family events at the time, i was unable to go. she ended up with meet and greet, and the band even complimented her phone case - one that i had designed - and shared it on their instagram. i have the video of the interaction somewhere, or rather did (i’m not sure if it vanished like videos tend to do), so i was bummed i didn’t get to go for that.
that’s also the festival that had fall out boy (the only other artist i had even the slightest interest in seeing), and at the time i was still a fairly new fan, so wanted to see them as well. but, looking back, i’m not sure how train meet and greet would have interfered with fob’s performance. i’m still gutted about missing fall out boy more so than missing train and the meet and greet, because at the time i was very lucky that i had seen train numerous times at that point and met them several as well.
in the past, most other concerts i either have a slight desire to attend but not enough to make me regret not going, or was lucky enough to be able to attend. i was even fortunate enough to go on the train cruise in 2016, so can cross that one off my “crazy things i’d do for a band” list. but this is the one that has stuck out as a true regret for the last eight years.

16. thoughts on mint chocolate chip?
brutal honesty? i think i’ve had it maybe once, and it’s been so long ago i can’t remember if i favored or disliked it. i tend to stick to the basics of chocolate or vanilla because i’m Certifiably Boring 😂
