1500-1599 Recap Part 33:

Then Allen died after his birthday from one of the many fires that occurred during the generation. 

Francis, Elinor, and Mathias turned thirteen and then Mathias and Millicent left for Sulani which I was happy for. Millicent was miserable for so long and she deserved some happiness. 

Francis took very little after his mother in my opinion which was both fortunate and unfortunate. I do like to see kids look like a blend of genetics and not just primarily one parent after all.

1500-1599 Recap Part 26:

Andrew became a child and life in the Carlisle home was calm again before Isabel was revealed to be pregnant again anyways. 

Then the other cousins celebrated their sixth birthdays which was nice to see. I was glad to see that they all survived their child rolls and surprised that Francis didn’t inherit those Vlad traits, don’t worry though his sister and her descendants have made up for that loss.

1500-1599 Recap Part 21:

Simon loved being an uncle to his little nephews which was adorable to see. Though I think pretty much anything toddlers do is cute so I may be biased. 

Millicent and Larissa had very different experiences with their pregnancies. Both husbands were excited to be parents but John quickly got over his excitement and spent most of the time just arguing with his wife. Gideon just kept asking to feel the baby which was adorable. 

Then Francis Scott, Mathias and Elinor Bell were born. All of which was a happy occasion for the family as they continued to grow.

1500-1599 Recap Part 20:

Isabel took to motherhood well, good thing since she ended up having six kids. 

Things were rather calm until after Andrew was born. I considered letting Thomas and Isabel stop at two kids since they had an heir and spare so I just stopped trying for a baby with them altogether but considering they had four more children, the risky woohoo chance and the fact they couldn’t keep their hands off each other clearly won out. 

Then Larissa and Millicent were pregnant at the same time. Larissa was over the moon while Millicent was anything but happy with this news.

1500-1599 Recap Part 19:

I really tried to build back the relationship between John and Simon but by the time John was an adult their relationship was pretty far in the red. I figured it was time to get John out of the home so he could have his own family. 

So John and Millicent married though Millicent was not happy about it she was content with marrying John being her fate. They immediately started trying for a child but not long after the wedding, the two began to argue and fight all the time. They were in the red when I came back to their household the first time.

Extras:

Now that Millicent and Mathias aren’t in the main town anymore, they have been released into the wild of my save lol and I will give important updates like birthdays/weddings/children/deaths but since when I checked Mathias’ preferences he had no preference for anyone (definitely aro/ace) I don’t think there will be too many children (if any) from this branch of the family going forward. Anyways, Millicent finally has a happy relationship with a generated sim named Tori Riddle who has a daughter of her own (Millicent and her are married when I checked in on them) and they are expecting. I’m happy that they’re content with their lives now that my death rolls don’t apply to non family houses (Technically Mathias is family but I’ve decided that fate wasn’t kind to Millicent for most of her young adult life and she should enjoy the rest of it with her wife, son, step-daughter, and new baby. That being said her elder rolls are still going to be in effect since she is still associated with the main household).

Year 1537 Part 2:

Having had considered her plans since before her children were even born, the thought remained in Millicent’s mind about what to do with her children. But when her son revealed that he had no interest in the kind of life he would have in town while Elinor seemed to thrive with the life expected of a young lady it was clear what she should do. 

So after talking with Larissa who loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, Millicent decided that Elinor would live with her Aunt while she and Mathias would return to the islands where her mother came from to start a new life. 

While her twins seemed fine with the arrangement, Millicent tried to keep herself from crying as she bid farewell to her daughter for what was likely to be the last time.
