Carmen Miranda in The Gang’s All Here Miranda’s campy film was initially barred in her native Portugal, where censors deemed her character’s absurdist headpieces sexually suggestive. For one of the film’s songs, "The Lady in the Tutti Frutti Hat,” Miranda wore fruit on her head while bikini-clad chorus girls danced behind her holding bananas.
