Presenting the world's smallest park! At twenty-four inches in diameter and 452.16 square inches, Mills End Park was added to the Guinness Book of World Records. It was created by a local journalist Dick Fagen who was tired of looking at a pole hole in the middle of the street. He had a column in the Oregon Journal called 'Mills End', in which he described various events that occurred in the park. These often involved leprechauns and other fantastical tales with regular characters such as Patrick O'Toole.
