“Revelation”? Really?

Because there just isn’t enough messianic malarkey going on in Believe as it is? Y’all really had to name an episode “Revelation”?

The thing is, this episode is both a literal revelation—of Winter’s compliance-cum-(sorta)-responsibility in the death of Nina, of the reality of the Degrade, of the kind of person Dani really is—and it’s an apocalyptic revelation: the end of everything.

Orchestra, Bo’s faith in Winter, the deadlock between Skouras and Winter, Tate’s ability to be sensible and adult.

And, if Dani does what it seems like she’s going to do, the end of Bo—either because Dani will kill Bo or because Bo will have to actively harm Dani to save herself.

Although, I do question the science of how they’re handling her gut-wound because—basically always ever—if a gut-wound isn’t treated correctly and quickly, the person dies in, like, three days.

…this may or may not be a joke that we us when watching things: “gut-wound; three days dead.” *whistles*

Just—OMG—at least try and be somewhat accurate. Mention that Milton sewed Channing up or something. Have convenient doctor-knowledge be convenient or something, especially when you went to the trouble of telling us that Milton’s “doctor” is because PhD.

Thing High Atop The Thing, shoddy writing like this is why y’all are getting cancelled. I’m not even kidding.

And, Believe has been cancelled. I think we’re getting two more episodes before the final cut-off? So—be prepared for SQUID OF ANGER when we are inevitably left in the middle of a storyline with a horrible cliffhanger.

(I’ll just be over here in the corner frustrated in my blanket-fort.)
