Bonnie’s Return is pretty much like a barrage of Pounds. Bonnabelle used to know Air Slash, but forgot it after staying with Noella.
Lops knows Pursuit and Feint Attack but it’s reserved for special cases when he needs to cross his moral boundaries a bit. Coz he uses Pursuit only for chasing bad guys. As for Feint Attack, he considers this dirty and underhanded, so it’s a last resort. Lops only regularly uses one Dark-type move, Bite.
As an Eevee, Lops only knew Tackle, Sand Attack, Protect, Quick Attack. He would Growl when threatened, but he didn’t like to. As an Umbreon, he learned more badass moves like Biting and became more ok with Growling
Mimi uses Splash to play. Also Lops probably taught her Rest. She is Timid, but she gets determined (DO IT FOR HIM (Jacob and Lops)) when push comes to shove, therefore her characteristic is ‘good perseverance’ and she has some physical moves. Endure is the ultimate culmination of Mimi’s determination to DO IT FOR THEM
Jacob gave Mimi a Soothe Bell to make her feel more at ease. It was later replaced by the Everstone necklace. She wears a ribbon on her ear. Lops learnt Tickle because of playing with her.
When Mimi grows older, she is able to learn Heal Bell. When Lops is older, he is able to learn Substitute and Retaliate. Mimi is also able to learn Helping Hand from him.
When Lops was an Eevee, Jacob registered these moves for him: Protect, Growl, Tackle, Sand Attack. He now has Protect, Growl, Return, Moonlight. When Jacob is older, it’s updated to Protect, Bite, Return, Moonlight.
He then met/caught Shelly at 17.
Mimi was given as an egg to Jacob by Eve. Yvonne was initially exasperated, feeling that it was impractical, but Eve managed to convince her, assuring Yvonne that she would be responsible for Mimi.
Lops’ Hidden Power is Ground-type, and Mimi’s is Air.
Solange’s skill in battle is their speed. Ebon’s is his raw power and his ability to take hits and keep going. He’s Nova’s powerhouse. Solange is not as cunning/vicious as the usual Dark-type, not relying on underhanded moves, but relying on speed and accuracy.
At one point, teenage!Nova came to a town where there were many Staryu lying at the beach in shallow water (x & x). She was with Ebon (Gabite), Solange (Liepard) and Cassandra. She felt really accomplished and satisfied to have gotten where she was at now.
When she saw the Staryu, she was really wonderstruck and captivated. She came back to see them a few times over the next few days. At night, they were blinking at the stars in the sky, like they were communicating. So, she came a lot at night.
There was one really peaceful moment when Solange leaned against her when she was watching the Staryu communicate. She felt so content. This was where she got Garnet.
For Room moves like Wonder/Trick/Magic Room, they are basically moves that mess with your mind and vision. E.g. In Magic Room, your held item suddenly crumbles to ash. There are 2-3 different Room moves with different effects coz it takes a lot of mental energy to sustain such a large illusion, so each move allows the user to focus on only one aspect to distort – e.g. Magic Room means the user only needs to focus on held items.
Given that, Cassandra has the ability to create a room of optical illusions that has the same effect as those mirror mazes/trick room houses. This is not listed as an attack, but in real life it’s totally possible. The opponent is confused and cannot figure out the real Pokemon to attack. She can do this coz it would mean she’s targeting their vision. Think Jasdevi’s fight with Crowley in DGM. The physical reality of the world didn’t change, but Allen and the others’ suddenly can’t what’s real or what’s not, because their visions are so distorted that they think they are in an alternate reality/room.
Cassandra’s Hidden Power is Water-type.
She is SO hyped about getting her starter. SO frigging hyped, you have no idea. The night before, she can’t even sleep because she’s too excited. But she’s also a bit sad (😔) that she didn’t get to be friends with the Pokabu she saved from Mandibuzz… But she cheers herself up saying that that was the right thing to do…! BooBoo (she named him already) must go back to his family…!
So, when she sees BooBoo at the Pokemon center this is how it goes:
*cue dramatic reunion music, everything in slow motion*
“BooBoooooooo!!!!!” she runs to hug him.
He met the Ralts as a kid, and he had a companion that helped him feel less intimidated by things. He reads his poems to Lilac and he also reads her his favorite stories. She loves it. He likes to come up with imaginative, fantastical stories, and she loves to hear it. He’s her storyteller.
She got Apple when she was 6, Lemon when she was 10, Vixey when she was 13, helped birthed Star when she was 16, and met Amy (as an Ambipom) when she was 18. Apple evolved when she was 14.
None of Emily’s Pokemon (except Lemon) can heal within battle because they’re all too impulsive.
Boots didn’t evolve because she hates the Ambipom form and she defiantly stays as an Aipom. She thinks she doesn’t need to evolve. Doesn’t need to, doesn’t want to. It’s basically, “Fuck you, don’t tell me what to do”. Theo probably doesn’t even know she can evolve. Her smaller size makes it easy for her to slip around and steal things.
Theo thinks Boots has the ability Pickup because she’s always appearing with new and shiny things. But he doesn’t know that actually she just stole them. He doesn’t notice that every time she uses multi-hit moves (e.g. Double Slap) it always hits 5 times. That’s her real Ability. Skill Link.
