@a-scary-lack-of-common-sense your mimic Stan au is so fun all I can think about is:

Mimic!Stan and the Spider lady try to catfish each other to eat each other but are both crazy disappointed. On Stans end the ratio of spider shell to insides is NOT worth the effort of fighting her and to her Stan is like mostly teeth so that’s a no go.

They end up going “gross. So you gonna leave my hunting ground? You’re hunting ground??”

And then an eldritch looking beings slap stick fight because neither species evolved to fight the other.

Just worlds weirdest most awkward fake date followed by worlds most disappointing smack down.
