ATEEZ to release OST 'Let's Get Together' for Playlist web drama 'MIMICUS'

ATEEZ will be releasing OST Part. 2 for the ongoing Playlist web drama series, 'MIMICUS'.

ATEEZ's OST "Let's Get Together" is an electronic pop genre with lyrics depicting an individual trapped beneath an endless darkness, symbolized by the deep sea. However, with the help of friends, the singer finds the light, and with it, hope.

The second OST is expected to serve as a companion to OST Part.1 "I Need The Light" sung by ENHYPEN.

Viewers can catch a snippet of ATEEZ's "Let's Get Together" in the drama cast's making film set for release on August 11. The OST will also be featured in episode 9 airing on August 19, ahead of its release via music streaming platforms on September 9 at 6 PM KST.

Meanwhile, 'MIMICUS' airs every Wednesdays and Fridays at 7 PM KST via Naver NOW.

[NEWS] Yoo Youngjae Confirmed For New Teen Drama

Upcoming drama “Mimicus” (literal title) has confirmed its main cast!

B.A.P’s Yoo Young Jae, former IZ*ONE member Jo Yu Ri, woo!ah!’s Nana, and rookie actor Kim Yoon Woo will be starring in the drama from Playlist. “Mimicus” will show how students at an arts high school strive to prove that they are the “real deal” amidst a culture where mimicking one another is the norm.

Yoo Young Jae will be taking on the role of Han Yoo Sung, a cold-hearted and upright son of a wealthy family who seems to have grown up in a bubble. But little do others know that underneath his prickly exterior is a student who is itching to show off his talents. He despises mimicking others or being mimicked himself, but he gets wrapped up in a strange rumor that claims he has been copying Ji Soo Bin, a famous trainee at a major entertainment company.

Kim Yoon Woo will play the role of Ji Soo Bin, the son of an entertainment company executive who is in the spotlight for being a famous trainee. Despite receiving so much attention, he is a mysterious character who actually has a secret he strives to keep under covers.

Jo Yu Ri will make her drama debut with the character Oh Ro Si, the center and maknae (youngest member) of the girl group ICE. Although she is loved for her amicable and easygoing personality, she receives poor treatment from her fellow members. When returning to school after her idol activities, she aims to find her own sense of identity.

woo!ah!’s Nana will transform into Shin Da Ra, a student who runs her own YouTube channel with videos documenting her daily life at the arts high school. She hates being alone and wants everyone to adore her. Shin Da Ra used to believe that friendship is defined by mimicking the person she likes, but she is challenged to rethink her approach after befriending Oh Ro Si and Han Yoo Sung.

Furthermore, Oh Jae Woong will be playing Woo Jae Young, a fellow trainee along with Ji Soo Bin, and Kim Myung Chan will be taking on the role of Hyun Woo, Han Yoo Sung’s best friend.

On top of confirming its cast, the drama held its first script reading with director Han Su Ji, writer Jang Jin, and the starring actors. Things got exciting as each character was brought to life by the actors. The photos from the reading give a glimpse at the upcoming story of teens helping each other learn and grow.
