Hey, so after latest update i was thinking if it does somehow confirm your Brain impostor theory and i read again the secret reports, and in report 11 Luxu says the impostor (so i guess Ven) took "a reckless plot to allow the Five to escape into another worldline", but of course Ven was unconsious the whole update, so do you think it confirms that MoM was expecting that Darkness would implant someone and that Brain is actually the imposter/had imposter?
So, I’ve been reflecting on Strelitzia’s data that everyone was discussing this update, and how further back in 2018 (before Brain called himself a virus), the Five Union Leaders were discussing how every dandelion has their data recorded for the digital Fairy Tale worlds that the Dandelions go to (remember, they weren’t aware Daybreak Town itself was also data at this time), and how they used that data for Shift Pride (the lore name for PvP matches) so that the dandelions wouldn’t ACTUALLY have to fight one another but data versions of each other.
Basically, I think this Union Leader meeting was the first hint we got that there could be people walking around that aren’t actually real, but rather data from Shift Pride. More obviously this is about Strelitzia, since Lauriam is looking for her data records in the flashback of that linked meeting-- but I also think it’s a hint towards the virus, fake Brain.
However, I personally am still not ready to say that Darkness is confirmed responsible for the virus/fake Brain. I guess at the moment I feel like Darkness is simply taking advantage of the situation to make Ventus cross over into the real world. I mean, we only have one more update, so I personally am fine just waiting for the confirmation to be spelled out word for word.
EDIT: Wait Darkness planting the virus doesnt make sense. The virus says
"We’re still headed for inevitable destruction. And I’m gonna change that. This world is on a path headed for destruction. ... I’m going to become a virus and overwrite the program that is this world’s future.”
I think I misunderstood this quote for a long time. The Virus isn't RESPONSIBLE for the glitches, but still knew they were inevitable and would spread destructively. I think the virus will PROTECT data Daybreak Town and find a way to save the rest of the dandelions. Data Daybreak Town falling into 'sleep mode' is either its solution, or it'll find a way around 'sleep mode'. But either way, it seems to want the opposite of what Darkness wants. I understand that now. It also means someone else gave King Candy the heartless code.
