In the fifteen minutes it takes for a full-blown fist fight to break out between the Ares and Apollo cabin, Daniel decides that he really is not pleased with himself for deciding not to play sick and curl up in the infirmary for the day. They're barely into breakfast, most plates only half-scraped clean, when one of the snootier Ares kids pipes up that she bets she could win an archery competition against any Apollo kid any day of the week.
You can only imagine how well that went over.
So in the chaos, Daniel finishes his pumpkin spice bagel--a delicacy his grandmother had prided herself on when the season rolled around--and makes a quick escape, deciding a walk around the training grounds sounds like a good idea before classes officially start for the day. Besides, everything will probably be delayed so the camp can receive on of those talks about getting into fights with each other. Ew. He makes eye contact with one of the campers as he uses the shadow cast by the bright morning sun to his advantage, and he has a sickening feeling he's about to obtain a second party member.
Fantastic.
4 have found the garden
Okay. So this wasn't the best of situations to be in. Probably not the worst either, but definitely not the best. Especially as there were now people in the garden. Gods. Slowly turning around, chest deep in a hole, she waved. "Eh, Hi!"

“What the----” Alabaster sat up, looking out the windows; where the fuck had Claymore driven them to, this time? The man wasn't even around -- and there were nos signs of fight. The boy frowned, taking one more look at the road they were in, and spotted a piece of paper on the window at the driver's side. He read, in Claymore's handwriting: No fuel. Be back in a moment. Cursing, Alabaster got out of the car and slammed the door shut. Damned that cursed, arrogant writer. He could have at least woken up Alabaster before drifting off to the gods know where in his search of fuel. He crossed his arms, thinking of what to do, when he heard steps approaching him.
“Excuse me!” he shouted, waving to whoever it was, “Do you know where is the nearest gas station? Or---- where I am, at least?”
