She’d been walking around the central island for Maker knows how long. Things all looked the same, and every person she tried to approach was faceless, and likely someone she’d rather not jump into conversation with. Fear was beginning to settle in and harshly on Bethany, and she just wanted to find someone who could explain anything, anything to her!
“Ah, don’t look so glum, Master! Look over there, he might help you, or he might be one of us, you never know! Or he might hold you hand and stop you from worrying!” Leviathan spoke up, not exactly doing very much to help Bethany’s anxieties at all. However, she did take a glance over at the young male being pointed out to her. He didn’t look very local, at least not to her. Perhaps he was a best bet at asking for a little help. Taking baby steps towards the other, a light cough to try and grab his attention left the mage’s throat, hands playing with the cuffs of her sleeves.
“Hi-! Uh, hey. Excuse me, are you new here too? You know, it’s awfully dangerous to be walking around these new areas on your own...” She figured this was the best way to work around asking someone to walk alongside her. Hand holding or not, she really didn’t like being accompanied by a demon alone.
