An expectation was to be had with accounts of ruffians wandering about– such a place was an underground for those who have sinned after all. It was a cage for unfulfilled promises, a self-made prison with no hopes of discovering the key towards the might. In any case, he did not find himself appropriate to be here. For instance, he believed– or at least he had personally convinced himself– he was not bound by what most would consider immoral, and so was his friend who, for reasons he could not decipher, had ended here all too humorously, but insulting.
This reflection kept him perplexed of many different types of anxieties, yet tongue was held for a moment. The Demon had whispered something. It was his dominant role to abide in respect, and eyes shortly studied the company far from expected. Around them were creatures taking a humanly form. However, no carvings were sighted under their mystical hoods. The severity of their stutterings was quite a trouble– he had evidently failed to understand a single word. One company briefly dismissed this worry, of her face was genuine and distinguishable– a sight for sore eyes, or so that’s what Junpei would say.
“I am,” The boy replied, lacking in energy despite not being truly disinterested. “What about it?” Simply intrigued was he, nothing more.
And his own Demon had revealed herself, hovering above the comely air.
It was a weird response, granted, and Bethany was taken aback by the question in return. What about it? Well, she was just concerned for his wellbeing really. She'd seen the likes of Kirkwall at night, and if this place was any worse, then she really feared for the safety of others. Things could pop out of anywhere, at any time, and if they were all defenseless then...
She noticed soon after a while, she was staring absently, having not addressed him at all since he finished speaking. Shaking her head Bethany piped up once more, hoping to not bore him straight away. She also hoped that she wouldn't be left by herself. After all, staring up at the hovering demon that was silently above them all was a little nerve inducing.
"I was just worried as all. After all, things can get dangerous in dark, lonely places, you know?" She tried her best to explain herself, but to no avail, though a scoffing Leviathan soon spoke above her, head inclined to one of her sisters who just appeared out of the blue.
"What she's trying to say is that she thinks that sister Beelzebub can't look after her master well enough, so she got worried, bless Master Bethany, really." That which was swiftly met with the mage jabbing an elbow to her arm in protest.
"No! Ignore her, please, I'm sure Beel...zebub is doing a fine job, please!"
