Maligayang kaarawan, dearest fave ♡♡
AWHHH thank you so much, love!! This is so cute I wanna cry😭😭
I'm sorry, I'm not good with words but let me tell you how I feel about your writing — I know technically your writings here are fanfics, but sometimes they feel too real and raw that I often forgot that the characters are based off from the members. And to me, that isn't a bad thing, rather a good one. Because you've had us hooked in them not just because they are bts fics, but because they are Ryen's works. Even the way you incorporate POV switches and timeline skips/ flashbacks are so smooth and natural that I don't get lost in the middle of the story. I'm also not one to remember much from the movies I've watched or the stories I've read, but your writings, especially 3tan, are already etched on my being (i meant to say on etched on my mind haha, but it honestly feels deeper than that)
So melodic? Yes it is. But also, poetic and raw/natural, relatable/immersive and creative.
damn.... you do not need to apologize for anything, this is so thoughtful? i am actually pretty speechless right now bc i'm just. blown away by this entire message, but i'll also try to respond!
to know these stories stay with you is just.. it means a lot. because yes, they're all fun and spicy and blah blah. but at the end of the day, their main purpose is to be love letters in fic form. i just wanna share what i make creatively, and hope it resonates with someone out there and gives them hope. and from a lot of y'all's messages, they do that. and i cherish each and every time someone mentions why they like a story or connect with it. your stories, your history, your triumphs. connecting with you guys is why i do this.
on the subject of movies/shows: i've said this before, but when i write scenes, it takes a toll on me because i switch my visual pov from the director of the scene, to one of the character's, to another character's, back to director's, to reader's, etc. tbh i guess this comes from a lot of watching anime and reading manga lol. like each panel is a different line break. so that's what goes on in my head while i'm writing, which could be why it feels a little cinematic.
gahhh i'm just floored by your words! thank you for sharing this, i am gonna think a lot about my creative process and see if i can break it down for anyone that wants to know.
