EXQUISITE CORPSE SHENANIGANS
Hello!
The other night me and my friends @hoodyknight and @mellowmango were playing Gartic Phone and I wanted to share the characters that came out! We specifically played "Exquisite Corpse". For those who are not familar with it: each person makes one part of the body, having only a tiny hint of what was previously made.
We were very surprised, to say the least, when we put together many actually interesting ones.
Since it's fun to rate things, I'll do a personal chart starting from worst to best. For each one I will say the drawing order, my rating and a personal thought.
Inviphandivam / Invilovechiate: An inviane identity that can only be described by this specific version of the Hierophant. This card is found in the Alleyman's Tarot and a Minchiate deck from the Bibliothèque nationale de France. This may be used on its own, or as a gender, aldern, or any other aspect of identity. Previously called Inviphanchiate.
[ID: two rectangular flags with 5 horizontal stripes. The stripes from top to bottom are orange-tinted red, cashmere, medium yellow, pale carmine, denim. In the middle of the first flag, there is a Hierophant Minchiate card. The card depicts a brown-haired woman in a yellow dress with a blue sash. She is putting a crown on the head of a kneeling man, who is in blue and gold armor with a red cloak. Above them is a cherub with gold wings, aiming down at the man. In the upper left corner is the roman numeral 5. End ID.]
Oggi me l'hanno sminuzzata, soffritta e bollita, la minchia!
I decided to buy a Minchiate after one of the teachers from the spanish folk magic course I'm doing talked about it (wasn't related with it, but she got it as a gift and showed it to us). I researched about them because it was my first time hearing about them. I found one secondhand, so lucky! I've fallen in love. I'm so excited to start working with it! 😍
Io sono un abile maestro nell'arte della complicazione.
The Alleyman’s Tarot is fully compiled (a few spots are subject to change as I have some really late art entries to consider in the next month), but for now the full 133 cards are compiled!
The Alleyman’s Tarot is a 133-card, mismatched tarot deck made up of cards from other tarot decks, old public domain decks, and original cards made by myself and other artists as standalones.
This is Post 1, the First Major Arcana and the Death Cycle. (Yes, there are two Major Arcanas.)
