Unwavering Awakeness

4:00 am and what am I doing? Watching another Korean drama and realizing I need to be up from 7-9 in the morning to check for an important email. This is where my mind wonders if to sleep and wake up in a few hours or stay awake and sleep after. The dilemma is real.

Mind wanders on the topics of love, future, college, and career at these lonely moments. The tears from the show doesn’t help my emotional state either, but so relieving of build up emotions that have not been indulged. Took a well needed break from the show to look at skype and realize maybe said person is not so important in my future if they seem just iffy in few ways.

Mind drifted back on the events from couple days ago and realizing we  humans grieve for many reasons and I heard a story  similar to mine and had to not listen fully or tears would of came rushing in public. Grief is such a weird and wonderful reminder of what we have, had, and take for granted.

I hate when there's that one thing on your mind that literally can ruin any mood you're in.  You can can go from being completely happy to pissed off or annoyed in a matter of minutes, and its something you have absolutely no control over. My mind wonders and tries to disappoint me or something; everything is fine until I let my mind spiral out of control and get myself in a bad mood. I'm sick of people's optimistic approach to everything. Maybe I just dont believe its possible to stay content and happy for long periods of time.
