You say that casting without paying mana forces X to be 0, but what happens to cards that don't allow X to be 0? Like Mind Grind for example.
This only applies to two cards: Mind Grind and Ertai’s Meddling. These two cards just can’t be cast without paying their mana costs.
I’m thinking that I need to start using this again. I can rant with no end. Express my thoughts in words. Plus I entirely forgot this existed and that I had one. It’s been at least a year.
