I get soooo baffled when I see people (usually targaryen glazers) saying they don't read the POVs of characters they don't like/only read the POVs of their favourite characters etc

someone once said on one of my posts that they never read any lannister pov. what do you mean. half this series is lannister povs. tyrion has more chapters than any other character. what did you do with feast???? how are you ok with missing SO MUCH of the story you claim to love??? and WHY? because the lannisters are mean to the starks? grow up

I bitch all the time about how boring dany's chapters can be and how much I don't care for the greyjoys and how tyrion's adwd storyline is annoying but I NEVER skip any of them. I don't even skim. how can you call yourself a fan of these books if you refuse to engage with most of the story????

the human capacity to acclimate to anything is so absurd. i’ve been cursed long enough that i don’t remember what it felt like to be healthy so my own perception of how far off my experiences are from normal is just vastly skewed. not even in a ‘i feel like i’m lazy/Not Really Disabled’ way, just like. i managed to partially assemble a mushroom tent i bought and found myself thinking “Wow I feel pretty good right now! This must be sort of close to what it’s like to be healthy!” when it’s like. babygirl for most of today you could not sit up.

A little off topic but I think one of the stupidest things I've read lately is when people are still speculating about "Dabi is going to die at the hands of Endeavor and Shoto"That doesn't even make sense

it is stupid, if anyone is going to die it's Endeavor via a deathdemption because Hori wants to drive that in and the stupid prophetic dream Enji had like a hundred chapters ago. Honestly, if Dabi does die, and I highly doubt this will happen, it will be more succumbing to his own wounds/fire, than anything else. It will be from destroying himself as he's been doing this entire manga. He's self-destructive.

Seriously, what sort of narrative would allow Endeavor, who Hori has been (imo badly) pushing into a redemption arc, to kill the first son he discarded and turned into a monster? How would that make Endeavor better? And what does that say for Shouto of all people?
