I like looking like myself, tbh. If I could do anything, I’d probably just want to be taller. Maybe I’d cheat and find a celebrity who looks like me and say them? Yeah... (I did a makeup test of Isabella Rossellini in Blue Velvet; we definitely aren’t identical but share some features. Been compared to Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie, Sophia Loren, etc. too?)

crow - which school subject do you wish you had an aptitude for?

I’m pretty alright in most of them, but would like my groove back in math and more theory/reading of music. I’ve also never been good at PE and wish I was better, as well as a bit better with fine motor activities.

cobweb - (if you’ve graduated) do you miss high school?

Not really. I do miss things like orchestra, my friends and favorite teachers, the art I made and fun I had, etc., but I’m very glad to be an adult. I wouldn’t want to go back unless it was to fulfill some weird fantasy about wishing I’d gone to high school with my bf because I know we would’ve fallen all over each other. :P I’d visit now as an adult, though, just to see my teachers again and see the school.

quilt - how do you take your tea (or coffee)?

Every way under the sun. :P Today, I took my black (builder’s) tea with lemon and honey, and yesterday, I had a mix of regular and french roast coffee with decaf, a bit of milk and sugar. I have black espresso sometimes. I have coffee with flavored creamer. Tea with nothing in it. Tea with milk and sugar. I’ll have different moods for what I want, and there’s no single way of having tea or coffee that I dislike enough to avoid it.

personally I’m cool with waiting a month so I never have to pay for psn again, and I have at least one friend on pc who will play with me. I played all of D1 solo except for a raid, so in my case it’s looking good

complain about wires/cables, because every geek I know has had some sort of trouble with them at some point.

I tripped and nearly fell over a FireWire cable today and they’re a mess. And I also have to dig around and buy cables because of how many specifications there are for some things

I’m glad to see all the interest! :o I’ve thought about writing about all of this in a half-decent manner, but it’s just getting around to properly exploring, as well as writing things down. I’ve got a few screencaps on my blog in the proper tags.

I’d thought of talking about my foray into LambdaMOO, but people are a bit wiggy about privacy ever since My Tiny Life was published, so I don’t want to be disrespectful of the rules because I have firsthand knowledge of why they’re there (well, if reading the book counts.) I don’t think people would mind talking about the actual exploration; it’s likely more the “blasting out info about people/the community” that is problematic. So it goes.

fwiw I’ve thought about having a separate/more “professional” traditional blog and/or website, more connected to my irl identity. It just hasn’t happened, and I’m starting to think maybe it’s best to keep it under a handle for community purposes.
