OKAY SO!! the exterminator fella right. he is Originally his own guy. arrived at lila & skid's residence, got possessed by moloch, then moloch accidentally killed dexter's body and his spirit latched onto the happy fella doll. SO NOW DEXTER'S LIKE CHUCKY. he chases the kids around, gets fried in an oven, dies a second time. as a result his remains are stored in lila's attic. now his PHYSICAL BODY is in the morgue, and moloch possesses it once again during that whole vs father gregor face-off. but dexter's body isn't where his soul resides anymore, it's in the happy fella doll!! basically this fucking thing ↓

this screenshot is from the very end of hollow sorrows and if you look closely you can see his eyes dart around! so it's not a stretch to say that dexter's consciousness still exists and he Might make a comeback!! maybe!! possibly!! i hope i was clear enough if you have any more questions pls feel free to ask!!!

NOW for the pros and cons. well for one he has his "needs" as he calls it, which is. killing. he likes to kill things. he became an exterminator for this exact reason, to keep his tendencies at bay, since when he can't have an outlet for that he becomes actively dangerous to others around him as seen in how he acts as a happy fella. BUT HE LOVES HIS MOM <333 he's just a lil weirdo. canonically has aspd, i'm not entirely sure whether it's acceptable rep or not but it is what it is. normally cheerful and polite but you probably know that from his debut episode!! overall not a bad pick for a fav at all
