If I am slow to respond to your ask or haven't answered it, please do not take it personally or spam me with additional messages. I promise that I have seen it the first time.

This blog is run by one person (me!) It's just one of several hobbies and commitments, and I regularly get burnout.

This isn't helped by the fact I had a hard drive corrupt on me a couple of years back which contained my raysound sources. I still haven't been able to get my collection of sounds the same as it was before. There are some game files I had before that i've outright lost, like Rayman Legends and Revolution.

This blog has been around for 10 years at this point, which is a long time for a single gimmick. Some years I have been more active than others.

Going forward, if I feel overwhelmed, I may temporarily close the ask box so I can either catch up on my inbox or take a break. If it comes to this, I will make a post announcing whenever asks are open.

So - fun fact(?) I first experienced Rayman via the Playstation version, and when I first played the DOS port as a kid we thought that our sound card was broken or our speakers were dying specifically because of this noise. It didn't help that it was the Focus Interactive version of Rayman Gold that had no music either ^^' I imagine anyone who only experienced the old Rayman games via PS1 would have been bamboozled by this ting sound for the first time in Rayman Junior/Brain Games...

I hope this is the right thing! The rescuable teensies in Rayman Legends reuse the same voice lines originally recorded for the Electoons in Origins. If this wasn't what you meant, please let me know ^^
