It needs to be said

I see a lot of people on social media complaining about other people, and criticizing other people's choices whether that be about the path of life that they have chosen (or not chosen because let's face it, life can be unpredictable ) or the things that they do. I myself am guilty of this too but I do not post it for the world to see. I take a second and think about it and when I do, I can't help but think, "Who am I to judge? Who am I to decide the path they are on isn't right?" No two people are the same. Who isn't to say that the life they lead isn't right for them? Or at least working for them? Life happens. Sometimes you are thrown a curve ball and not everyone can hit that curve ball out of the park, but they give it their best swing. Next time you want to criticize someone for taking a walk off the beaten path, think about how that reflects back on you. I will say that this post is a rant of a few specific posts I have seen lately; particularly the Kemit sipping tea photos. Yes, some of them are funny, but there was one that angered me. It said "I saw more ultrasounds than graduation photos this year but that's none of my business". I myself graduated college this year and have a friend that did not. She in fact had a healthy, beautiful baby boy that is unconditionally loved. Would it have been ideal for my friend to have graduated college and gone off to start her career? Yea, probably, but life isn't like that. Instead, she had a baby that she loves so dearly that she would not trade him for 10 college degrees and the best paying job. Even though we are told you need a college degree to get along comfortably in life, how many people have done it before without one? How many of your parents don't even have a college degree or even a high school diploma? Who is to say that one day these early twenties mothers won't return to school or maybe even further their education past where their peers are? If I see one more Kermit the frog picture about "but that ain't my business" I might snap because by posting it you are making it seem like you DO in fact think it is in some way your business. So long story short why don't you all, in the words of Kevin Hart, "MIND YO MOTHA FUCKIN BUSINESS BITCH!"
