Here it is, my rundown on all the important aspects of structures in Minecraft, and an explanation of why when you go out looking for exciting activities in the exploration world, you probably won’t find them.
Some of these boxes are subjective, but the data is very much real. We don’t have enough structures that you can find whenever you want to explore, don’t expect diamond armour of the player, have good combat, and are overall worth the effort taken to get there. Structures should be about wonder and excitement and challenge, not about the journey it takes just to get there, or the fact that you’ll build a farm out of it.
The solution to exploration boredom is a couple of things that are standing right behind Mojang’s back.
