When the trailer for the Minecraft Nether update came out, I wondered why I was so inexplicably drawn to it, and why I sought out all the other trailers for other updates that were like that trailer. It wasn’t like I was deeply invested in the updates or anything, but I just couldn’t stop replaying the video. I have now come to the conclusion I am just as big of a sucker for Minecraft animations now as I was 10+ years ago.
With the very apparent return of Minecraft to popularity, all I can hope for is the resurgence of the amazing Minecraft animations and animators.
