thinking about designing more ocean beasts for the game
i had this concept for an update for a while but I never knew how to execute it,, but here's an idea for an update that, much like the bat, gives old mobs a new and improved look, while also adding new features
Update: I made the basic pigeon texture! Adding animations along with planning the variations. So here we go!
since i'm posting might as well show off another once again inspired by @illwilledomen love her art to death
Here's my concept for Hummingbirds in Minecraft! Cute little guy! Loved working on them~ They'd go from flower to flower pollinating and spreading them!
Golden Ragwort
Biomes: Forest, Birch Forest, Plains, River.
Dye Color: Yellow
Real-Life Inspiration: Packera aurea
how would we feel about a minecraft "spent lapis lazuli" system including more building blocks a la sculk and end stone chat
me n my brother were coming up with concepts earlier for a mimic-focused minecraft mod and one of my fav ideas is the "bark crawler" - a mob that looks like a creeper, camouflages with different trees, and gets mad when you break too many logs near it - so in return, to scare you off, it gets close behind you and makes false creeper hisses, but cant actually hurt you.
there'd be a cave variant of it called the creepy crawler who gets mad abt ores and straight up does the whole classic horrormod dweller chase except it still can't hurt you. (im thinking itd maybe do "phantom hits" that don't actually deal damage but def would startle you! and maybe it has a limit of one-per-whatever so it doesnt get toooo annoying)
they can be pacified from their shooing stage by placing down saplings or any ore blocks (raw or processed) or the like, and can be tamed (maybe thru vines and glow lichen respectively? or like moss or glowberries lol) to scare off hostile mobs that get too close to it. the bark crawler specifically would have a chance to bonemeal the ground it walks on, including crops :3
