This one is a redraw of an older piece from October.
I started wanting to draw a zombie but realized there should be WAY MORE biome specific mobs-
(Yes the mushroom biome spawns no hostile mobs. but that's just Derek, he's chill no worries)

consisting of doodles of my other minecraft ocs and some more lore bits about them! (details r not polished so all is subject to change)
first oc up is my drowned oc, Nerina! i love her!!!
she is much different than the other drowned, she is gentle, curious, and a bit of an airhead, but she is soft and not inherently hostile! instead of humans, she scavenges for turtle eggs to eat as its much more yummy and nutritious for her! she often has trouble obtaining them tho, as mother turtles are very protective.
she spends the daytime floating aimlessly in the water and in the night she sometimes comes to the shore looking for turtle eggs. eventually she meets befriends my other characters, Evan and Dudge! which she is rather curious fond of land creatures.
and yes she used to be a human, she doesnt remember much from her human life, but she feels like she was left behind by somebody she hold dear to...
Next up are my other zombie ocs, Gaius and his son Orion!
the image above has all the info about them, but basically they love eachother very much, they just have different ways to show it!! they also used to be human. Orion he was considered a "golden child" in the village they lived in, but in all honesty, he hasnt changed a bit in behavior. they moved to the village when they lost someone important, they dont quite remember who tho. when they turned into zombies, they dont remember anything of their human life, but all they know for sure is that they are son and father, and nothing will change that
the next oc is my cave spider oc, timothy! or timmy for short
just like cave spiders in game, he is ANNOYING AND DEADLY. but hes just a kid having fun. the only life he knows is the mineshaft he was born in, seemingly having no parents, and the other cave spiders dont concern themselves with him, minding their own business. he is rather lonely, so he gets very attached to the prey he comes across, but doesnt realize the harm his poison causes. eventually he'd meet my other ocs, finding his new family in them

now here are some ocs that are still in the drafts but i do wanna show them off
my phantom oc, the vicious mob...
i havent finished his ref yet, but i am really loving the design im making for him! i have more sketches of him ill share later.
and lastly, concept art for a blaze oc... this was drawn on a whim so i dont have a complete idea for him, i mean cmon... its a floating head and rods, how am i suppose to make it work!?
