the thing about batt and their weird relationship with their mike persona i disagree with many people on is that. that can't be good for them. pretending to be the version of you that doesn't feel the way you do or doesn't have the weaknesses / vulnerabilities you have & is trusted by everyone & does everything in the best way possible all day and having to take off your costume and be yourself again after shift is over can't be too good for you right.
i do not think they're a man, regardless of what they're seen as by others. but i do believe they wish they could be one just like mike. ive seen people have them change their name to "mike" etc. and them finding more about their identity through their persona, but i think the mike suit takes away from their self expression more than it adds to it. like being afraid of wearing dresses because mike wouldn't and mike is who they want to be. if anything they do takes them further away from being mike why keep doing it. does this make sense can anyone hear me
