You usually like your Minecraft world on peaceful or anything easy, Not because you're bad at survival games. But rather liking the cozy aspect that a game can offee you.
Building a cozy cavern and even planting flowers around it like some kind of garden to have a tea party art, or just enjoy the sunlight the day brings to your world that you've created.
But something was missing to the game, a key feature to Minecraft. Mobs. enemies.
Sure, Playing it slow and without defending yourself to creepers that pest you every night is relaxing, but at some point you start to miss that.
And yet it felt repetitive, Oh so repetitive. It's always the same, Avoid the creepers or else you blow up with it, Hit the zombies and spiders. avoid the skeletons bow and arrow, the list goes on.
You needed something new, and something that would chase you during day time for a change of pace, something you can take care of while you're building.
So one day you went on curseforge or whatever mod installer you had available to look for something that might catch your eye, Only downloading graphic packs becomes boring after a while.
eventually you stumble across the horror mods section, Horror isn't really something you indulge in much but it's not something youd try to avoid. You just mostly find different stuff that interested you.
But since you're so bored today you might aswell browse through it, Perhaps there's a chance something stands out. And something did, You saw a mod called "The Knocker".
the name doesn't really ring a bell and haven't heard of it before, You read a bit of the info and just decide to download it blindly. Might aswell at to the excitement by going in blind right?
Oh but you have no idea what the hell you just signed up for to add to your peaceful cozy little world you created.
Once it finishes downloading you open your Minecraft back up from the launcher and hop back on Minecraft Java and skim through your servers and click "Cozy <3"
you make sure to set everything up for your server and adding the Mod into your server and hop back on the game.
You spawn back in your Cavern, music box playing and your dogs sitting in their corner where they always sit, Beautiful rain noises outside and an relaxing atmosphere.
Wondering just what the hell you downloaded, since you don't notice anything yet. Perhaps It'll appear or be seen in the next few image days.
Huh...since when was there a sign outside your Cavern?

The next few days went by as usual, Tending to your farm animals, Going into the caves for some iron and diamond hunting and searching for some villages.
But everywhere you go you feel rather...Uneasy. like there's something following you and watching you, and you were right for the most part.
At first there was nothing out of the ordinary, everything was as it used to be, except some random signs appearing. Mostly Emoty without anything written on them.
But lately they have had messages on them like "im watching you" and "you have a nice house", aswell as a dark figure watching you from the shadows.
and weirdly all your bread you've stored in your cavern always seem to be missing, Same as the main ingredients. You thought your dogs grew sneaky or so, But that thought left your head quickly.
During one of the times you find one of the Signs, you decide to try something new. Putting up your own sign and try to communicate with whatever is stalking you.
You place it near the forest from your house, tryin not to draw too much attention to your own home, You write "hello, who are you?" And go back home
You weren't really expecting anything out if it, except thinking whatever is out there is most likely not gonna try to respond or anything.
Besides, Your bed was calling you to get some rest and leave the day behind you, there's always a tomorrow. this isn't hardcore afterall.

After a quiet night you make your way back outside to check on your flowers, to check on your house, to check on your anima—
Why is there a guy in the middle of your cows who was in the middle of writing on a sign that was clearly aimed to be for you?...
That must be the person who's been watching from the shadows and leaving those empty signs, They sure don't look how you expected them to.
Completely dressed in black, and then that white face with a big black smile that just seems hollow, and some sort of fading black shadow coming from his eyes.
He just smiles at you and jumped over the fence back into the forest, leaving the sign back next to your cows who never once looked up from eating the grass.
You cautiously step forward to look at the sign and your breath gets caught in your throat as you read to yourself quietly trying to be silent and still.
"I've been watching you, pretty thing. I can't get you out of my mind even when i try. I wish you belong to me alone."
You blink a few times and back away from the sign, Your breathing starts to get quite heavy while trying to remember that this is just a game. it's just a game..Right? it's just a game.
Little did you notice the knocker staring at you from the forest, right out of view also breathing heavily. But not in fear as you are, But in complete madness and obsession over you.
He knows you can log off anytime, But he's gonna make sure you're staying in this stupid world you created with him and him alone, he loves you and he wants you to love him too.

You remained in the game for several more days, 17 days infact wich isn't much but it feels much to you since everything was going on.
And 14 days since the "knocker" had appeared at your cow farm and abruptly left you that sign wich still stands at it's place
Everytime you try to remove it It's back the next day, Probably set up by him to remind you every day that he's obsessed with you, never letting you forget what your presence alone does to him
And that wasn't the only thing that's reminding you of his existence that's oh so fixated on you.
There were signs right next to your front door going "You have no idea how long i stare at this wooden door, waiting for you to walk out of it so i can keep admiring you".
Signs inside your home listing his favourite things about you..And places he would love to be near you if ever given the chance when you were ready to let him get closer to get to be near you. And with how he acts, He wouldn't mind it being reciprocated aswell.

And worst of all, The signs he leaves around your place complimenting how you look, And unfortunately he doesn't mean your avatar...
Everything said there is a reference to your in real life appearance...Your eye color. Your hair style. Your clothes..Your neckline and pulsepoint..
And yet, This won't be the last of him. He'll be back everyday you log on, every minecraft day and night. always watching you and fawning over you from the shadows. God you make him miserable.
