I doodled this after the finale of Agents of SHIELD season six. I loved all the parallels between May and Mulan! Forgive me for the mistakes, I didn’t have a reference, so this was completely off memory...

Happy Birthday to my hero and favorite Disney Princess @mingna_wen . Not only did her portrayal of Melinda May inspire me to move forward during some of the toughest points in my life but her power to make every fan of hers feel special always brought me out of some of the lowest points in my life each special time I got to meet her and hope to make more great memories in the future. (Not quite Marvel related but I had to talk to someone about Ming-Na Wen and she plays in AOS so it counts and the only place I could think of is Tumblr…)

I’m already thinking of the next time Ming-Na Wen will come in my country for a convention and what cosplay I will be wearing… I have too many ideas… So many cosplays I could do that would work with her characters or one character I know she likes or a hoodie I know she will absolutely love… I’m going to a con very soon too and I’m going to meet amazing actors that I’ve been wanting to meet for a while now yet I can’t stop thinking about Ming-Na… /if/ she ever comes back. I think I might like her a bit too much… But she is such an amazing person that I cannot stop myself! I admire her, she’s a role model and an inspiration and she is purely amazing… A photo a quote a video a movie an interview or a simple tweet or anything will make me smile. She reminds me that I should be proud of who I am… Ming-Na Wen is the light in my darker days. I want to tell her thank you… And I really hope she will come back one day so I can tell her all I couldn’t say, as I was absolutely starstruck and crying out of joy and too much emotions
