Tipsy. Hwayoung wasn't having fun anymore, the guy trying to impress her was insisting to buy her a drink but she wasn't having any of that. Why was she here again? Oh, wait, right. Her friend wanted to have fun. She isn't having fun. She's getting annoyed, so she whips out her phone and holds a finger up to shut up the rambling dude.
“Can you shut up for a second, I need to call my boyfriend.” Which doesn't exist but her best friend exists and they basically made a pact that they'd get married at a certain age if they're both single. They still got a good couple of years ahead of them but in her defense, Minguk is her best friend. He's family and he's a friend, even though their relationship started as some sort of strictly business only and they weren't supposed to be friends, because he was guarding her. He's the bodyguard turned best friend turned soulmate and he's number one on her speed dial. Minguk is her emergency contact and right now, this is an emergency. Once she hears the other line ringing, she waits patiently until she hears his voice at the other end of the line.
“Hi, babe. See, there's this guy right here that wants me to go with him to his place. I think he's trying to kidnap me.” Hwayoung didn't bother to lower her tone, she just spoke casually and calmly. “I'm already tipsy and he still wants to buy me a drink, so I think he's trying to get me drunk. Mind coming over to.. what's this place again?” She stops, asking the bartender a quick question. “Oh, I'm at Monkey Museum in Gangnam. Better hurry up or you could just prepare a ransom money.”
