you already know that the auction for calroy's mini is gonna be brutal. we all want the cake man in his fancy pants.
Just what she wouldve wanted
I’m excited to see the orange top hat fairy sell for an absurd amount of money and be the most expensive mini overall
Lots of weird takes on the mini auction but like keep in mind that like for a company that employs a lot of people and hopefully compensates them fairly $100,000 is not that much money.
Like yeah of course it insane to imagine having 10k+ to spend on any single item but like directing that anger to dropout makes ZERO sense. They are not evil for making money especially when that money goes to making d20.
I have less than $100 in my bank account so I guess I'm going to sell a kidney for the Annabelle Cheddar mini
With Dropout auctioning off their minis, I wonder if this just confirms a divergence from practical battle sets and more usage of digital spaces such as Roll20 and Talespire?
Do you want to have a say in what WIP I finish next? These and other WIPs are currently part in the "What To Finish" charity auction, so you can get your favourite WIP (or even 2 facourite WIPs) finished soon. The main auction spreadsheet is [here], and the slides for all participants is [here]. The main blog on tumblr is @what2finish Happy bidding :D
