From skittering away from us and keeping well out of reach to demanding pets and accepting two people petting her at the same time in a matter of days! This girl is so starved for love and you can tell she wants to trust.

Moe Update

Little buddy is doing so good! He and Jake get along really well which is such a relief. The cat is warming back up to us but still mad. He sleeps through the night and is no longer intimidated going up and down the stairs.

We had his paw checked out today and after the x-ray the vet thinks he was born with it. He said it would be too risky for surgery but anticipates arthritis which at least is manageable. It helps that he's so little so we'll have to make sure to keep his weight under control. Everyone at the office wanted to take him home and were in no rush to finish the appointment.
