A/N: Whoa hi there how’s it going it’s been a hot minute. I might make a separate post about where the hell I’ve been for actual years but for now lets just say I’ve been busy. Anywho I hope this part is as good as y’all expect it to be!
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
The party had just ended. You and your family, plus a few others, were all hanging out in the commons room. Everyone was spread out, some were on the couches and chairs, others on the floor, and some just standing around.
"So, Y/N," Clint caught your attention, "You and Parker? Is there something there?" Clint wiggled his eyebrows, and everyone smiled.
"There's nothing there," you assured.
"Really? I mean, by the way he was looking at you, I'd say there is something there," Clint teased.
"By the way he was looking at me? What's that supposed to mean?" you chuckled.
"Yeah, what is that supposed to mean, Clint?" Steve spoke up, not seeming to like where this conversation is going.
"Oh, well, y'know... he was staring at you and all... awkward?" Clint took a sip of his drink.
"He's an awkward guy!" you defended.
"Can we change the topic?" your dad looked at everyone.
"Please do," you muttered.
"How about presents?" Tony stood up and clasped his hands together. Tony reached behind the couch and pulled out a small wrapped box with a bow on it and handed it to you.
"You guys didn't have to get me anything," you said as you took the present.
"Nonsense! The lady Y/N deserves to be treated as if she was a queen!" Thor raised his glass, which caused everyone else to yell agreements and raised their glasses.
"Whatever..." you mumbled. You took the bow off and placed it onto your dad's shoulder. You then unwrapped the box, crumbling it into a ball and tossing it at Clint, you then opened the box to reveal a silver, mechanical looking bracelet.
"It's the bracelet that we talked about before. The one where it'll change into your clothes," Bruce explained.
"Oh! Awesome," you smiled and put the bracelet on. "Thanks, guys," they nodded their heads at you.
Thor picked up a present from under the table and handed it to you. You opened it up to see a very shiny gold necklace with a bunch of beautiful jewels on them.
"It is made of the finest materials from Asgard; a necklace suited for a queen!" Thor said.
"I... I don't think I'm even fancy enough to wear this," you stared at the jewels that decorated the necklace. "But thank you, Thor,"
You sat around, opening presents from your family until you all called it a night. You have a big day of training tomorrow.
You woke up bright and early! Even though every muscle in your body was telling you to go back to sleep, you still got up, dressed, and ate.
You walked into the gym and looked around. Bucky was on a treadmill, Nat was hitting a punching bag as Clint held it for her, and Sam was lifting a few dumbells.
"You ready?" your dad snuck up on you. You jumped forward, turning to look at him.
"Yeah, I guess," you said nervously, "What exactly are we doing?" you asked as you both walked towards the center of the room.
"You're going to try and change," he said, stopping in the middle and looking at you.
"What?" you tossed your duffle bag aside.
"You need to learn how to control your powers. In order to do that, you need to try and change. So, try and change," Steve said assuringly. This caught the attention of the other Avengers in the room; they all stopped what they were doing to watch, obviously keeping a reasonable distance away.
"It's not like a switch, I can't just turn it on and off," you replied.
"Are you saying you've tried?" your dad's words hit you hard. The first time you changed you did try, you tried so hard, but it didn't work, so you just assumed you couldn't flip it on and off. However, maybe after a few tries, you'll be able to do it on command.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes. You decided to start small, you thought of a cat. You pictured it in your mind, every detail. You put yourself into the eyes of the cat. Seeing how it sees, how it walks, what it feels like to run. You took another breath and opened your eyes. You looked down and still saw your human body.
You sighed and slouched your shoulders, "It didn't work," you mumbled mostly to yourself.
"Try again. Just because something doesn't work on the first go doesn't mean that you should give up," your dad reassured. Everyone started clapping and cheering that you could do it.
You nodded as everything went silent. You closed your eyes and fixed your stance. You saw the cat again, how it pounces, how it stands, how the arms and legs work. You took a deep breath and held it for a moment before releasing. You opened your eyes again and looked down to see your human form still. "It didn't work!" You threw your arms up and looked at everyone. Some seemed frightened; others seemed flat-out confused.
You looked to your dad, "Well... It didn't work exactly," your dad took a step aside, and you saw yourself in the wall mirror. You had a cats head. Your big cat-eyes widened as you ran over to the mirror.
"Hey, look, she has a tail!" Clint started laughing.
"It's a step towards the right direction," your dad comforted as he stood beside you.
"I'm Hermione. This is what happened to Hermione, I can't believe this," you turned around and walked back towards the center of the room.
"This just means you gotta keep trying. Now, try to finish the transformation," Steve said.
You nodded and closed your eyes. You became the cat in your mind. You were running through the grass, feeling it on your paws, seeing how big everything was. You opened your eyes and looked down to see two little cat paws. Everyone started cheering as you ran over to the mirror. You did it! You were a cat! "I-I did it!" you said, turning to everyone.
"We knew you could!" Nat shouted as everyone agreed.
"Now try another animal," Steve suggested.
You nodded and closed your eyes. You took a deep breath, and a bear was the first animal to come to mind. You thought about all of the details of a grizzly bear. Within moments, you heard gasping. You opened your eyes and looked in the mirror to see a giant grizzly bear staring back at you.
"Holy shit!" Clint cursed, earning a glare from Steve.
You started laughing, "Look at me! I'm a bear! Grr, grr, mother fuc-I mean truckers!" you stopped yourself, glancing at your father.
"Whoo!" Sam started clapping.
You were overjoyed with your powers. Not that you weren't before, but now, now you can control them. Boy, are you going to have some fun.
Mastering how to make the basic crochet cord makes for a useful skill in making amigurumi. In this particular case, I used that technique to make Loki’s horned helmet as well as his embellishments on his clothes. Read on to see how to make a basic crochet cord.
Making a basic crochet cord step-by-step
Start off with a slip knot, then ch2. Sc1 in the stitch away from the hook. If you don’t know the basics like slip knots and single crochet - go download my free 30-page ebook here to start off with.
The outlined part in the picture above shows the FLO (front loop only) of stitch closest to hook. This is where to first insert hook to make the first single crochet.
Pictures 2 and 3 are the same but with different view points, just flip the whole cord upwards to get the view in picture 3.
After completing the 1st single crochet in the cord, aim the insertion of hook into the outlined part in the picture. That outline actually represents the FLO (front loop only) of the stitch closest to the hook and the parallel loop just below it (= previous round FLO). Flip cord upwards in picture 7 (same step as picture 6 with different view).
This time after you yarn over, draw yarn only through 2 loops, not all 3. (Similar to last part of a double crochet.)
Complete 2nd single crochet in cord, now you have 2 layers in the cord!
Continue repeating above steps until you get a longer cord.
Lower pictures show a cord of 3 layers and a cord of 10 layers.
So back to Loki again:
For his helmet, I did a longer basic crochet cord and inserted metal wires inside to make the horned part, so it can be bent into shape. As for the green embellishment on his clothes, it was only 3 layers to get the effect I wanted!

Hope you learnt something useful for your amigurumi!
The Avengers but pocket sized. How cute is that???! Like Dr. Banner when he Hulks out wouldn’t even be scary...well maybe to your finger or something. Would Thor’s hammer still be heavy?? They’d all be so cute but could probably break your finger by accident, ya never know how rowdy they could get. But they would also help you through your day, Natasha would probably fight someone for you and still kick their butt :D Hawkeye shooting mini arrows at people who look at you the wrong way. Iron Man flying around their head to annoy them. Cap being the cutest thing ever telling you encouraging stuff. Loki may steal your pencil or pen to try to stab someone (I know he isn’t and Avenger but ya gotta include Loki)
Admin Capsicle. I’m bored af so I just made this. Admin IronButt is currently at a con so it’s just gonna be me for a few days! Wooo. Hope y’all enjoy <3
